1. In a food processor, combine the chickpeas, oats, cocoa powder, honey, peanut butter and vanilla extract. 2. Process until the mixture is well combined and sticky.

3. If the mixture is too dry, add a little more honey or peanut butter. If the mixture is too wet, add a little more oats. 4. Stir in the chocolate chips, if using.

5. Roll the mixture into balls. 6. Place the bites in a single layer on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. 7. Freeze for at least 30 minutes, or until solid. 8. Store in an airtight container in the freezer for up to 2 months.
