For the crust: – 1 cup all-purpose flour – 1/2 cup rolled oat – 1/4 cup packed light brown sugar – 1/4 teaspoon salt – 1/2 cup cold unsalted butter, cut into cube

For the topping: – 1 cup all-purpose flour – 1/2 cup rolled oat – 1/4 cup packed light brown sugar – 1/4 teaspoon salt – 1/2 cup cold unsalted butter, cut into cube

Instructions

1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease a 9x13-inch baking pan. 2. To make the crust, in a large bowl, whisk together the flour, oats, brown sugar, and salt. Cut in the butter using a pastry cutter or two knives until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs.

3 Bake for 15 minutes, or until the crust is lightly golden brown. 4. To make the filling, in a medium bowl, combine the strawberries, granulated sugar, and cornstarch. Toss gently to coat the  strawberries rries.

5. Pour the strawberry filling over the cooled crust. 6. To make the topping, in a large bowl, whisk together the flour, oats, brown sugar, and salt. Cut in the butter using a pastry cutter or two knives until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs.

7. Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until the topping is golden brown and the filling is bubbly. 8. Let the bars cool completely before cutting into squares.

Tips

– For a sweeter filling, you can add an extra 1/4 cup of sugar. – If you don't have fresh strawberries, you can use frozen strawberries that have been thawed and drained. – You can also add other fruits to the filling, such as blueberries, raspberries, or blackberries. – For a more decadent topping, you can drizzle the bars with melted chocolate or caramel sauce.
